Michael K Holland

Professional Biography


Michael K Holland - has worked in the technology arena for more than 17 years, the last 13 years in executive management roles including the last 9 years as the CEO/Founder of Net-Flow Solutions. Mr. Holland brings a substantial knowledge base to his clients in areas such as risk mitigation in the IS environment, as well an LAN and WAN implementation planning. He is a trained specialist in networking technologies, including infrastructure security, network operating systems, and LAN and WAN interconnectivity. He has provided leadership in the development and implementation of strategic information technology plans and supporting operational processes.


Mr. Holland is currently the chief executive officer of Net-Flow Solutions, which he founded in 2005. Since conception, the company has steadily grown to become a recognized name in the Atlanta area for providing Fortune 500 services and expectations at predictable set monthly costs to its clients. Net-Flow Solutions’ client projects Mr. Holland has led include Business Continuity Planning, Exchange and Active Directory migrations, business office and data center moves, as well as Disaster Recovery Planning, consulting for SAS 70, SEC, and FDIC audits. In addition, he has led vendor contract negotiations, business startup planning and consulting.


Prior to Net-Flow Solutions, Mr. Holland was the Information Technology Director and a consultant for a Speer & Associates, Inc (S&A) in Atlanta, GA. During his tenure with S&A, a leading consulting firm to the financial industry, Mr. Holland re-engineered the company’s network providing 4 years of 99.999% uptime statistics. Mr. Holland personally managed and implemented several projects including Exchange Server Migration, Windows Active Directory implementation, Cisco VPN, and a SharePoint Portal Server for document and project management. In addition to his role as the IT Director, he assisted in several billable projects for clients like Banco Popular Puetro Rico, Banco Popular North America, RBC, and many others. These projects ranged from Call Center consolidations, to creating new data centers. Mr. Holland also co-authored three white papers, as well as led S&A’s Online Banking Survey project for two consecutive years and co-authored the results in the annual S&A publication. S&A’s Online Banking Survey is a three-month project that take an in-depth examination of the online banking capabilities of more than 200 banks in North & South America.


During Mr. Holland’s career, he has managed and cultivated positive working relationships, while assisting in contractual negotiations and support services with Fortune 100 Companies, Fortune 500 Companies, Top Legal & Financial Firms, and Government Agencies. From 2001 through 2005, Mr. Holland held a seat on the National Board of Directors for the Network Professional Association (NPA). During this time, he also founded the Atlanta Chapter of the NPA driving initial membership from 4 members to over 200 in its first year as a chapter. Mr. Holland is also a member of several other technology related organizations, both local to Georgia and nationally. In addition, he is active with several non-profit organizations. These organizations include Scottish Rites, North Fulton Scottish Rites, Grand Blanc Masonic Lodge #571, and is a Past Master of Roswell Masonic Lodge #165. Mr. Holland is also a published fiction author using the pen name Michael Kaye, his first novel, The Awakening, Book 1 - Oh Sh!t... spent over 100 days in the Top 25 on Amazon.com's Top 100 Paid eBook and close to 180 days on the Top 100 list. The book peeked at number 8 under War Fiction and number 9 under Action and Adventure.  He has been a Lifetime Member of the NRA since the age of 21 and a member of several other pro 2nd Amendment organizations.
